Dimanche Rouge’s mission is to promote contemporary art performances reaching a large and diverse public, providing a permanent platform for experimental art, and fostering international exchanges. Dimanche Rouge’s core development is a monthly and free experimental performance event based in Paris, France.
Since the start, 17 months ago, Dimanche Rouge’s events have showcased the work of over 500 artists from 52 countries. All of which have featured a wide array of groundbreaking performances including multimedia, dance, performance art, video, sound, actions, body art, interventions, street art, spoken word and installations.
This event was born out of a need for a permanent platform for experimental performances in Paris, and is now established at different venues for international artists to perform. Dimanche Rouge is currently developing projects abroad intended to establish similar platforms in other countries and create sustainable artistic exchanges.
